MANDATORY INSTALLATION PROTOCOL - YOUR WARRANTY DEPENDS ON IT:A failed compressor is often a symptom of a leak elsewhere in the system. To ensure the longevity of your new compressor and validate your warranty, the following steps are REQUIRED:
PERFORM A THOROUGH LEAK TEST: Before installing the new compressor, you MUST inspect the entire system (air struts, valve blocks, lines) for leaks. An existing leak will force the new compressor to run constantly until it burns out. Compressor burnout due to system leaks is NOT covered by warranty.
